Otiena Ellwand is a freelance journalist and an intern at CBC’s foreign bureau in London, England.

She’s contributed to such publications as thestar.com, Spacing Magazine, Mumbai Mid-Day, Monday Magazine, Ryerson Free Press.

Last year, she studied journalism on exchange in Mumbai and then spent the summer making films in Banff, A.B. This summer, she’ll be working as a reporter for the Telegraph-Journal in Saint John, N.B.

Otiena dreams of being the next Stephanie Nolen, foreign correspondent.
